Suspended for a nose ring?

Ariana Lacono was suspended from school by not removing her nose piercing and in my opinion it isn't right. Just because someone decides to pierce their nose it does not mean that they will not succeed in school. Although it is clearly said in the article that Ariana Lacono wants to return to school and get into a good college. I also think that everyone should respect the decisions that others make as it was written in the first amendment having the freedom of religion.
